This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity was low. Minor development was observed in Region 3483 (N10W38, Dai/beta), and new Regions 3484 (S14W34, Bxo/beta) and 3485 (S19W25, Bxo/beta) were numbered. The remaining regions were either stable or in decay. An eruption near Region 3484 was observed in SUVI 193 imagery at around 10/1900 UTC, and the associated CME, visible off the SW in LASCO C2 imagery beginning at 10/2000 UTC, is being analyzed for an Earth-directed component. A filament located near N40W12 began to lift-off at around 10/2200 UTC, as seen in SUVI 304 imagery, but no coronagraph data for this time period is yet available.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!
Solar wind parameters reflected continued negative polarity CH HSS influences throughout the period. Total field strength values ranged between 1-3 nT, Bz varied +/-3 nT, and solar wind speeds at ACE (ACE data used after 10/0700 UTC) indicated a decrease from around 650 km/s to between 550-600 km/s. Solar wind data from DSCOVR appeared anomalous, and wind speed measurements prior to 10/0700 UTC are believed to be non-physical.
There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 35% chance of a moderate event, and a 25% chance of a strong event.

Mercury is in Sagittarius
Mercury is prograde at 01 Sag 30' 16", moving at 1.51 degrees per day, and is 205184874km away and approaching.
Alright, stargazers, put on your space suits. Mercury, our planetary neighborhood's speed demon, has parked itself in the garage of Sagittarius. It's like pairing a meticulous accountant with an adventurous Indiana Jones - one loves the fine print, the other is more interested in hidden treasures and broad horizons!
Sagittarius, the galactic party dude, sprinkles a dash of excitement wherever he goes, turning Mercury’s transit into an interstellar fiesta. Picture Mercury in Sagittarius as a debate club meeting in a roller disco - expect eloquent speeches, passionate arguments, and maybe a few uncoordinated moves.
But remember, my cosmic compadres, while Mercury is in Sagittarius, it's like having a loose tongue combined with a low gravity situation. Words might float out of our mouths without a safety tether, drifting into the vast expanse of conversations without any fact-checking or sensitivity buffers. So, activate your internal autocorrect and be careful not to launch any conversational satellites you might regret later.
As Sagittarius is represented by the Archer, we're in for an exploration bonanza! It's like getting a free pass to the universe’s greatest theme park, and guess what? There are no height restrictions! This is a prime time to plan that trip to Mars, enroll in Quantum Mechanics 101, or finally apply for that job as a UFO tour guide.
So buckle up, celestial navigators. With Mercury in Sagittarius, we're set for a journey filled with mind-expanding experiences and maybe a few extraterrestrial encounters. Just remember - in space, no one can hear you laugh at bad astrological puns!

Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is retrograde at 09 Tau 25' 21", moving backwards at 0.13 degrees per day, and is 597801273km away and receding.
Alright folks, gather round the cosmic water cooler! Jupiter, the space guru, is crashing at Taurus’ pad, and it’s about to get real. So pack your bags – we’re off on a celestial road trip, and things are about to get interesting!
Picture this: Jupiter, the big brain of the cosmos, meets Taurus, the world’s most stubborn couch potato. It's like Einstein and your grumpy grandpa teaming up for a science project. The universe whispers, "The answers are within you", but sometimes those answers are wedged between Netflix binges and that half-eaten bag of chips. This transit is our wake-up call to dust off our innate wisdom and put it to work.
Jupiter in Taurus is like having a motivational speaker in your corner, with a bullhorn, cheering you on towards your dreams. It’s time to do more than just doodling your goals on napkins, my friends. Put on your trusty thinking cap, roll up your sleeves, and start checking off that to-do list. Jupiter is handing out growth hormones, and Taurus is ready to dig in and do the heavy lifting. Trust me, the process will be as satisfying as watching paint dry, but with better results.
Now, let's talk about money honey, because when Jupiter and Taurus hang out, it's like hitting the cosmic jackpot. Jupiter is the lucky charm of the galaxy, and Taurus is all about that cheddar. We’re talking Scrooge McDuck diving into his money bin kind of prosperity. So, dust off those financial spreadsheets, and let’s hunt for some growth opportunities.
But, here's the catch. Taurus is known for its love of life's finer things, and Jupiter can make everything seem like a buffet. It’s like going grocery shopping when you’re starving - even the canned spinach starts looking tasty. So, remember to put on your common-sense goggles and resist the urge to fill your cart with everything you see. You don’t want to wake up from this transit with a cosmic food coma and a maxed-out credit card!
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 00 Pis 33' 20", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 1420991965km away and receding.
Heads up, stargazers! Saturn, our favorite celestial taskmaster, is currently taking a plunge into the cosmic fishbowl of Pisces. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Wait, isn't Saturn that stern planet that's always asking for our homework?" And you'd be right! But before you start panicking and pulling out your hair, let me tell you, everything's going to be just fine. In fact, it's going to be more than fine, it's going to be...well, let's call it interesting.
You see, when Saturn, ol' Taskmaster General, takes a dip in the dreamy waters of Pisces, it's like the universe is giving us a nudge (or, more accurately, a robust shove) to turn our daydreams into reality. Think of it as a celestial life coach who's charging us nothing but a little attention. So, grab a notepad and brace yourself for some guidance that will make Tony Robbins blush.
Now, it's not all sunshine and rainbows, no siree! When the King of Rules is swimming in the zodiac's final sign, we might feel a bit like a teenager with a parent snooping around our room. No amount of "Keep Out" signs can keep Saturn from metaphorically barging in to tidy things up. But hey, sometimes we need that push, even if it feels a tad intrusive. So, fling open the door and lend an ear to his wisdom – it's bound to be more useful than you'd expect.
With all this Saturnian energy kicking around in Pisces, ruler of sleep and dreams, we might find ourselves struggling with restlessness or insomnia. If you find yourself counting sheep or staring at the ceiling in the middle of the night, take a leaf out of this nerdy astrologer's book: meditate, take a stroll in nature, and practice deep breathing. Heck, you might even want to hit the hay a bit earlier than usual. But remember, keep a dream journal by your side - you never know what profound wisdom might reveal itself in your nocturnal musings.
So, as Saturn takes his dive into Pisces, let's welcome the lessons he brings with open hearts and minds. After all, when the universe gives you a free life coach, it's only polite to
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is retrograde at 21 Tau 09' 53", moving backwards at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 2787346523km away and approaching.
Brace yourselves, earthlings! Uranus, the cosmic rebel, is crashing into Taurus, the celestial equivalent of a comfy La-Z-Boy. Imagine inviting a punk rock band to play at your grandma's knitting club. That's the level of mismatch we are dealing with here. And, in case you're wondering, Uranus is approximately 2,787,349,723.13km away, not that it makes this cosmic clash any less dramatic.
Taurus, bless its hooves, loves stability and routine. It’s like that friend who insists on ordering the same thing every time you go out for dinner. But guess what? Uranus ordered spicy cosmic gumbo and there's no return policy. So buckle up, buttercups. You're in for a wild ride!
Now, Taurus also has a thing for money. It's like Scrooge McDuck but without the swimming pool of gold. So, with Uranus in the mix, expect some serious changes in the financial world. New forms of currency may pop up. Banks might start looking like scenes from a sci-fi movie, and the stock market... well, let's just say it's going to be more rollercoaster than carousel.
On a personal note, this is a great time to revisit your relationship with money. Are you shackled to your debt like a sci-fi horror alien to a spaceship? Do you see your credit card bill and think it's written in an alien language? Well, Uranus is here to kick down the doors, free you from financial prison and probably rearrange your furniture while it's at it.
Resistance, as they say in Star Trek, is futile. Changes are coming, whether you like it or not. But hey, there's a silver lining! The changes are here to help you find a better place, like a GPS with a sense of humour. And who knows? By the end of this cosmic bull ride, you might just find yourself in a much more stable, and dare I say, enjoyable financial situation. So grab your space helmet and get ready for the ride.

The Sun
You should have lots of energy and vitality today. Go out and get some exercise. Be careful not to get into arguments with your superiors or with people in authority, like policemen. Avoid confrontations that involve your ego. Instead, channel the energy and potential hostility into something creative like your favorite hobby. The important thing is to express yourself in a constructive manner. How about playing in the park with a group of children? Do not overexert yourself or put too much strain on your heart. This means controlling your temper. Anger is one of the hardest things on your heart. Don't lay out in the sun too long. You may burn easier today than normal. Watch yourself around the stove or anything hot. Focus on being humble. Put your ego in the backseat.
