This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3519 (S11W58, Eso/Beta) underwent some redevelopment, increased in overall size, and produced a C7.8 flare at 20/0936 UTC and a C6.5 flare at 19/2154 UTC. This event was associated with coronal dimming observed in GOES SUVI 195 imagery beginning at approximately 20/0940 UTC, and a subsequent CME was modeled and determined to be a miss ahead of Earths orbit. Region 3521 (N11E03, Dso/Beta) was responsible for a C8.2 flare at 20/0854 UTC, which was the largest of the period, as well as a few other C7 flares. Region 3528 (N09W14, Dai/Beta) gained additional trailing spots and underwent some consolidation. Region 3529 (S19E27, Dko/Beta-Delta) continued to exhibit growth, developed a weak delta magnetic signature in its trailing spots, but was relatively quiet. Region 3530 (N08E49, Dao/Beta-Gamma) exhibited some magnetic evolution as it gained additional intermediate spots of mixed polarity. Region 3531 (S20E68, Hax/Alpha) was numbered this period, and was the culprit for a C6.8 flare at 20/1727 UTC. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is very high, making retrograde effects extremely increased!
Solar wind parameters exhibited a gradual decline this period. Total field values decreased from 6-7 nT to 3-4 nT by the end of the period. The Bz component had an early episode, reaching -6 nT, but was mostly -4/+3 nT thereafter. Solar wind speeds gradually decreased from ~580 km/s to ~420 km/s. Phi was predominantly positive.
There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Venus
Venus is in Scorpio
Venus is prograde at 19 Sco 37' 17", moving at 1.2 degrees per day, and is 166478732km away and receding.
Humming a tune of relationships, Venus is. Sociable and affectionate, as friendly as an Ewok she is. Scorpio, on the other hand, dives headfirst into the pool of passion like a daring Jedi. When Venus in Scorpio you find, craving meaningful and intense experiences you’ll be. Frivolous flings? In your spaceship's rear-view mirror they'll be, as you set coordinates for long-lasting romance. Be warned though, love can become as obsessive as a Sith seeking power.
A time, it is, to shine Yoda’s little green light on the shadows of your relationships, when Venus and Scorpio are hanging out. Those nagging thoughts, like pesky Porgs, that you've been pushing aside to maintain peace in the galaxy? As impossible to ignore as a Wookiee roar, they become. Underneath the surface, you must go, finding truth and holding it up to the light of Tatooine's twin suns. You'll ponder, "What can I do to make this work?" or perhaps, "Is it time to let the Millennium Falcon fly solo again?" A reality check, this transit provides, whether you’re ready to face the Vader within or not!
Venus in Scorpio can also bring power struggles worthy of the Galactic Senate, and money concerns brighter than a blaster bolt. Subtle issues, previously as stealthy as a cloaked Star Destroyer, become as evident as the Death Star. The way credits are spent in partnerships starts to feel like a high-stakes game of Sabacc. This could also be a time when, like a shrewd Toydarian, you take a stronger interest in financial investments and decisions about loans, insurance, or other monetary matters.
Potentially as heavy as a Hutt, Venus in Scorpio can be. But fear not! All this intensity leads to a bond stronger than the Force, it does. If you’re ready to face the challenge, both emotionally and physically (No Jedi mind tricks here!), this could be a transformative and sexy time, bringing you and your partner closer than Han and Chewie. May the Force be with you!
Mars
Mars is in Sagittarius
Mars is prograde at 19 Sag 23' 32", moving at 0.73 degrees per day, and is 367248416km away and approaching.
Gather round, space cadets! Our fiery friend Mars is taking a cosmic vacation in Sagittarius, and we're all on board for the ride. So buckle up, because this road trip isn't about getting to grandma's house. No, no! It's about exploring the vast unknown of the universe. With a GPS that can't see limitations, we’re off-roading beyond the edges of our comfort zones and into the realm of infinite possibility.
Now, Mars in Sagittarius isn’t your average tourist. This celestial globetrotter doesn't just want to see the sights - it wants to change the world. Imagine having not only the vision but also the horsepower to turn your wildest dreams into reality. It's like being handed the keys to the TARDIS with no instruction manual. Don’t worry, though, you won’t need one. Because shooting from the hip is what Sagittarius does best. We might be a bit scattered in the present, as we're too busy gazing into the future, but hey, that's half the fun!
But let's not forget, we're cosmic explorers, not space pirates. There's a risk of becoming overzealous in our quest for knowledge and adventure. The term 'YOLO' might make a strong comeback during this transit. Just remember, even Doctor Who had to learn the hard way that not every Dalek needed exterminating.
Mars in Sagittarius wants us to go full Star Trek and boldly go where no man has gone before. It's the best time to pack your metaphorical bags and embark on a journey of self-discovery. But remember, travel doesn't have to involve a plane ticket. You could also go on a mind-bending journey through the pages of a new book or learn the art of origami from your Japanese neighbour. It's all about expanding your viewpoint and embracing the richness of life.
So, as Mars sashays through Sagittarius, let's not just travel; let's traverse galaxies, explore alien cultures, and discover the secrets hidden in the stars. After all, the universe is our playground, and we've got the best swing set in the solar system!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is retrograde at 05 Tau 44' 56", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 648208841km away and receding.
Alright space cadets, gather 'round, because Jupiter - that big ol' gas giant has decided to park his rear in Taurus - the celestial Ferdinand the Bull of our zodiac. The universe's largest planet is currently retrograde and a whopping 648134522.049762726km away. I know, it's a bit of a commute, but let's not complain too much. We've all got that one friend who always insists on meeting halfway, right?
First off, Jupiter is like your eccentric uncle who knows a little something about everything and never hesitates to share his wisdom. Taurus, on the other hand, is more like your stubborn cousin who's quite content sitting around chewing cud and taking things slow. Put 'em together and what do you get? Well, it's a bit like attending a family reunion where Uncle Jupiter is waxing philosophical while cousin Taurus just nods, chews, and contemplates the meaning of life.
With Jupiter in Taurus, we're being handed an opportunity to channel our inner Neil deGrasse Tyson. It's time to drop the distractions and tap into that dormant wisdom we've all got tucked away. Yes, folks, we're going metaphysical here! Get ready to dive deep into the cosmos of your soul...or at least the junk drawer of your mind.
Here's the kicker though: Jupiter is like a cosmic lottery ticket. When it's in Taurus, we've got the chance to hit the jackpot...with our dreams. This isn't about winning the Powerball, folks. It's about pulling out those dusty dreams, giving them a spit and polish, and really working towards making them real. With Jupiter's ambitious energy and Taurus' stubborn persistence, we've got all the cosmic tools we need to make it happen.
Now, I have to give you a fair warning. Taurus has a taste for the finer things in life and Jupiter... well, let's just say he's not one for moderation. It's like putting a kid in a candy store and telling them to just pick one. So, during this transit, we may find ourselves wanting to splurge a little (or a lot). The key here is moderation. Remember folks, a life filled with caviar dreams can quickly turn into a sardine reality if we're not careful.
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 02 Pis 21' 44", moving at 0.08 degrees per day, and is 1517476861km away and receding.
Well, folks, strap on your space boots and grab your cosmic popcorn! Saturn, the Universe's strict headmaster, has roller-skated into the dreamy, liquid realm of Pisces. This is like having Mr. Spock in a tie-dye shirt at a Grateful Dead concert - a truly far out combo!
Now, imagine Saturn as our celestial Arnold Schwarzenegger - all muscle, discipline, and notorious for not knowing when to knock. When this drill sergeant of the stars storms into Pisces, our personal dreamland, it's like having the Terminator scanning your diary for structural inconsistencies. Intrusive? Heck yeah! But also helpful? More than you'd think.
Saturn in Pisces is all about getting serious with our daydreams. You know that fantasy of opening a vegan food truck or writing a sci-fi trilogy? It's time to make a plan, Stan. Yes, I'm talking budgets, business plans, and maybe even a bank loan. This isn't just stargazing, my friends. It's star-doing!
But let's not kid ourselves. Having Saturn rummaging through our dreams can feel like a cosmic invasion of privacy. We might feel edgy, restless, even lose some sleep. But remember, Saturn is like that overbearing yet well-meaning parent who insists on tidying up your room, even if it means discovering your secret stash of comic books... or in this case, your deepest desires.
So when the restlessness hits, don't fight it. Embrace your inner hippie. Take a stroll through the forest, meditate, practice deep breathing, or take a power nap (have a dream journal handy, though!). Heck, you might even want to hit the hay a little earlier and let those dreams marinate.
So, grab your cosmic vacuum cleaner and get ready to dust off those dreams. With Saturn in Pisces, it's time to say "Hasta la vista, fears!" and "I'll be back... with a plan." Remember, the future is not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves. Now, go out there and conquer the universe!
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is retrograde at 19 Tau 39' 33", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 2819260941km away and receding.
Ah, dear ones, Uranus is visiting Taurus, and it's kicking up a cosmic dust storm like a bull in an interstellar china shop! Taurus, the celestial cow, likes things as steady as a well-balanced Bunsen burner. It finds comfort in the familiar humdrum of the universe like a trekkie at a Star Trek convention. But here comes Uranus, the celestial equivalent of Spock's illogical cousin, bringing upheaval and change faster than you can say "quantum mechanics."
Now, Taurus is the Bill Gates of the zodiac—the Warren Buffet of star signs. It understands money like Einstein understood relativity. So, with Uranus parking its cosmic caboose in Taurus territory for the next seven years, we're likely to see some revolutionary shifts in how we handle our galactic credits. We might witness the rise of new currencies, banks transforming like Autobots, and stock markets riding the rollercoaster of unpredictability—buckle up, folks!
On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like a cosmic Marie Kondo urging us to declutter our financial closets. Debts, taxes, credit card interests, rent, mortgages—they're all like black holes sucking the joy out of our material world. During this transit, we're being called to boldly go where no man has gone before—in redefining our relationship with money and materialism. It’s time to grab your lightsaber and cut those financial chains. Resistance is futile!
But remember, my starship crew, these changes aren't just a random warp in the space-time continuum. They're here to help us navigate towards a future of greater stability. Like Spock once said, "Change is the essential process of all existence." So, let's embrace this cosmic shake-up with open arms and minds. After all, Uranus didn't travel 2,819,211,179.861055374km just to be ignored!
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is prograde at 24 Pis 57' 06", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 4481837420km away and receding.
Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is prograde at 29 Cap 02' 05", moving at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 5350160800km away and receding.
Now, I know what you're thinking: “What does a celestial hoedown between Pluto and Capricorn have to do with me, the humble earth-dweller?” Well, my star-gazing friends, allow me to enlighten you. For this cosmic tango is taking place approximately 5,350,129,928.437252045km away from us. That’s right, folks, I counted. But just because it’s happening in the outer reaches of our solar system, doesn’t mean we won’t feel the cosmic vibrations down here on terra firma.
Firstly, let’s remember that both Pluto and Capricorn are notorious workaholics. These two could outwork a team of caffeinated ants on a sugar high. And when they get together... oh boy! They’re like the power couple of the cosmos—focused, efficient, results-driven, and just a tad ruthless.
But here’s the rub: these two are so busy chasing success that they can sometimes forget to put on their empathy hats. It’s like trying to play charades with a pair of robots—slightly frustrating and a touch soulless. So, during this transit, try not to get caught up in their productivity frenzy. Remember, diversity of thought is a good thing, even if it's coming from your eccentric neighbor or that one coworker who insists Bigfoot is an alien.
Now, onto the fun part. Pluto is all about reinvention, but it’s a bit like that friend who helps you clean out your closet by throwing out half your clothes. It means well, but it can be a little overzealous. As Pluto pirouettes through Capricorn, it’s going to encourage us to ditch the things that aren’t serving us anymore.
So, while you're looking up at the stars, why not take a moment to look inward too? Find those internal cobwebs, the dusty corners of your psyche that you've been avoiding - it's time for a spring clean. But remember, this isn’t about wanton destruction, it’s about constructive obliteration. It’s about making space for the new by respectfully retiring the old.
In conclusion, expect some celestial sparks to fly as Pluto shimmies its way through Capricorn. And while you might not be ready to join their cosmic
